I am truly honored!
And YES I do LOVE my collection of faves!
It is so easy to appreciate the quality work of others.
We are SO blessed with many geniuses,
of diverse talents, here at DA.
And as you can see,
by my collections, I do have varied interests,
myself.
Your gallery,
for example,
(I have so many favorites...I could just about "collect" them all!
I had to stop myself!
I favor monochrome, and sepia!
I also have a deep reverence for vintage photographs.
So much history there!
Which is also why I LOVE antiques and photographs of worn out objects,
the more worn the appearance,
the better!
It is evident that you have been collecting,
and photographing for quite some time.
Have you considered publishing a photograph anthology of your work?
At least, it is definitely worthy of it's own REAL gallery!
I hope you have had exhibits!!!
As
for me,
I am a writer, poet and lyricist.
I have also been known to carry a tune.
Also I work with ink,
pastels ,
watercolors.
and crafting of several media, my specialty, silk
floral arrangements.
I have dabbled in photography, but for lack of better equipment, I am limited there!

I appreciate all your support so much--it really means a lot!
When I get out in photographer mode, my eye definitely searches for those things you love: the traces of history in the worn, weathered, faded... I love to imagine the generations of people who might have been there. Oh! you should read an earlier journal I wrote about this: [link]
Many thanks for relishing these images--yes, they are very special to me, too. Colors, texture, lighting, the feel of the past imbedded in the present....
